With great power comes great responsibility

great power great responsibility

As you’d expect, the first half of 2017 has been an exciting time for marketers — and for AppsFlyer. We started off with a bang, announcing a $56 million Series C funding round led by Qumra Capital, Goldman Sachs Private Capital Investing, Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners and Pitango Growth, along with our previously-existing investors.

We were invited by Facebook to present at their annual F8 Developer Conference, and we were one of a select few official partners to be included in the launch of Google’s App Attribution Partner program, which enables marketers to better measure their Google campaigns with us.

With marketers continuing to focus their efforts (and budgets) on mobile, having an always-reliable, independent measurement partner that helps marketers measure their campaigns and optimize their activities is essential for success. Marketers know this, of course, and we are truly proud that they continue to look to AppsFlyer more than any other provider in the industry as their partner for mobile attribution and marketing analytics.

The data presented in the image above – aggregated from multiple independent sources – shows that we continue to have the highest market share by a wide margin, while the gap from our competitors is only growing over time.

While the market share findings demonstrate our current leadership, we realize that our mission to empower marketers and to function as an invaluable extension of their team is still in its infancy.

Our dedication to our clients is the foundation for everything we do as a company. Our most important product release this year has been a substantial upgrade of our fraud-busting technology, aka AFI 2.0. It is the world’s most advanced mobile fraud detection platform, and we are truly confident in its ability to help marketers defeat fraudsters.

Our Active Fraud Suite continues to provide the industry’s most comprehensive real-time fraud protection, but since not all fraud can be blocked in real-time, post-attack detection is what separates the mediocre from the mighty. With AFI 2.0 and DeviceRank, combined with our big data and the largest fraud anomalies database in our ecosystem, we are in an ideal position to weed out fraud and ensure the AppsFlyer ecosystem is clean.

As more marketers look to us as the standard and leverage the value of the technology, products and support we strive to offer them everyday, we are honored to be in this leadership position and will continue to work hard to deliver the tools, insights and service that helps our clients excel at their jobs.

We are committed to marketers and their long-term success, and will continue to offer the most advanced data-driven insights, including broader measurement capabilities and deeper, AI-driven capabilities and sophisticated analytics. We are only just getting started…
